Privacy Policy

What we collect
We collect the minimum data required to operate TaskRamp: account details (name, email), authentication data, workflow content you create, and activity logs needed to keep the service reliable.
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google account profile (name, email address, and a Google account identifier) to create or link your TaskRamp account. We do not receive your Google password.
For security, we also collect device and browser signals (such as IP address, user agent, language, and related headers) to create a security fingerprint used to protect accounts and reduce repeated verification prompts.
How we use data
- Provide and secure access to your workflows and tasks.
- Send service communications (invites, verification, security alerts).
- Improve performance, reliability, and product experience.
- Detect suspicious sign-in activity and limit unnecessary two-factor prompts within a short time window.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies for authentication, session continuity, security, and basic product analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or sell behavioral profiles.
- Session cookies: keep you signed in and protect against unauthorized access.
- Security cookies: detect suspicious activity and prevent abuse.
- Preference cookies: remember basic settings, when available.
- Analytics cookies or tags: help us understand site usage and improve the experience.
Analytics and tag management
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure site performance and understand how features are used. These tools may collect usage data such as pages viewed, device/browser details, approximate location (derived from IP), and interactions with the site.
Analytics data is used to improve TaskRamp and is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.
Data protection
We apply encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging to protect your data. We only grant access to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We only share data with service providers that help us deliver the service (hosting, email delivery, authentication), under strict confidentiality and security obligations.
If you use Google sign-in, Google processes authentication requests according to its own privacy policy.
Data retention and deletion
We retain data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion or export of your data by contacting support.
Your choices
You can manage notification preferences and invite settings in your account. For privacy requests, contact support.
